Park Tools Super Patches

I've personally had a very high failure rate with these patches. They are great for a quick fix, but over time they tend to dry up, crack, shrivel and ultimately they lose their adhesiveness. The hassle of then replacing them in a way negates the whole purpose of why they were designed in the first place i.e. convenience.

Unless I'm doing something wrong :?
