Could also arrange collection from Christchurch address.

They very rarely come up for sale in part because few were sold. They were a brand that was marketed poorly in the UK and fell by the wayside quite quickly. Their rarity comes not from being exclusive but from being unwanted as there is no prestige associated with the brand.

A 1990.5 16" Super XT was my first proper mountain bike of the right size for me. At bike meets it was background noise - apart from an occasional 'what's that?' no one was interested. I loved the bike but I never saw another one.

There's been a Pacific 7 Comp (model down from the Super XT) frame for sale on ebay for over a year. The 7 Comp frame was the basis for the Alpinestars Almega. They were made on the same production line. If you look at the 1990 catalogue the 7 Comp is an Almega XT doppelganger with different decals. Almega's normally sell quite quickly, that frame hasn't, even though it's nothing more than badge engineering.

Unfortunately you can't make people buy what they don't want. Added to which the market is the slowest I've ever known it to be right now.
