Orange announce a non-single pivot full suspension

Except it is still single pivot...

The difference is the shock is no longer a direct mount, but is actuated by a linkage for a rising rate progression of its own. That allows a softer shock, better damping, etc.

Nevertheless, the swingarm itself is still a rigid arm single pivot design and not articulated like 4 or faux bar, or fully floating like Maestro. Its still painfully crude, albeit not quite as crude as their old design. Still, for all that Orange made it work better than it should have done by rights.

The swingarm is not floating, it is affixed to a single pivot.

As aforementioned, it is only the shock that is actuated by linkages, presumably to introduce some kind of rising rate action. In essence it is now much lime a typical motorcycle mono-shock system, where the swingarm rotates about a fixed, single pivot and the shock is actuated by top or bottom mounted linkages.

So, yes, this bike is very much single pivot - count them! One, er, one. One. If Orange are suggesting otherwise its very disingenuous of them.
