I'm finishing the resto of a RF-1 from 1991.
I used the cane creek thudbusters bushes and they're fine. They are the same color than the originals and you have various hardness.

I had to work a little on them to fix in the bike, but nothing difficult. They are a little big and you have to short them. You have to do bigger the hole too.
It's easy to do anyway.

This is my bike with the cane creek bushes fitted.
