Never seen or heard of them before today. View from my carpark before riding home. Something to do with atmosphere pressure, ice and sunlight.......without quoting the interweb haha

Today I saw one of the most amazing and beautiful things I’ve seen, a Nacreous cloud! These are one of the highest clouds seen in earth’s stratosphere at around 12-19 miles high! Only ever seen in very cold conditions and rarely seen in the UK. Photos were at 07.47 and 08.35 in the same patch...
