My road bikes, a collection of Italian steel

A friend found this, it seems the bike is a Basso.

Some better pictures this time. Should have taken the bike outside for them, but weather was snowy, cold and miserable.

Part series is 9-speed Shimano 105 except for the cranks, which are Ultegra. The bike came with mismatching wheelset, so I assembled new ones with Alesa X-Plorer -rims, Shimano Tiagra -hubs and DT Champion -spokes. That's about it I guess. Bike does have a Shimano Flightdeck -computer, it doesn't work, but I'll have to try with a new battery at first.

Spring has arrived, I rode the bike home today. I've made a few finishing touches, most notable is the new stem, 3T Pro Chrome.

More pictures

I found a nice Colnago Super, currently bit of a project. I'll glue new Vittoria Rally tires on rims early next week and install a new chain. I haven't decided yet which pedals to install, but I'll probably end up installing grey Shimano PD-R540's.
