If I do, this will be the " off the peg " frame I'll bring to them as an example of what I like.

Yeah, thats Kind of what I'd do. Some of the retrobikes I like, seem (to me) to be unobtainable, so why not take those Ideas to a frame builder?

I guess this Idea might horrify some..

Cheers gazz! Purists will be pleased to note that I've now replaced the Tan Spoon saddle with a black Rolls. A bit heavier but bugger it, looks nicer.
