I'm a big fan of taking a retro classic and making it better. Discs are better and modern forks are better. Now you can enjoy riding it and thats what matters. 'Dales are very distinctive frames and yours still knows just what it is. Nicely done. But have to say I prefer the original colours. Getting out of the headshock is a good move, just looks wierd like the lefty and any 'Dale looks good with some Rockshox.

I was going to say that I don't understand taking an atiquated design and throwing money and modern parts at it. Then I thought for a second, I took a 1936 Mercury frame and put a modern internal geared hub and a suspension fork on it and I love it. So to each his own. Personally I like the look of the bike.
