They do look very nice though, whats the retail on that bike :?:

No retail yet as it's a prototype, it needs to be tweaked a wee bit first before it's unleashed on the downhill buying public.

The 4-bar linkage looks a bit unbeefy is that because of the weight taken off not using a cassette and rear mech?

Cheers! :D

Interesting bike, there seems to be mileage in the G-Boxx concept for DH, not sure it will ever cross over, though I have seen more xc/ rail bikes with Rollhoff (sp?) rear hubs.
Quick Q, how come there seem to be two cables into the drivebox?

one to change up and one to change down? grip shiftty type changer?

What he said!!

The problem with the G-Boxx is the perceived weight of it, however it's not that heavy. Only a few manufacturers are experiementing with them as it's still 'cutting edge' I suppose. It also costs a lot to develop a frame with which to stick a single manufacturer's product into, it's not a universal standard fitting as such so to speak. Thus not many firms experiment with it as of yet.

The back end is made of steel and not aluminium, thus no need for fat tubes on the seat stays.

The Fisher CR7 vindicated at last!

I was wondering about whether a bike could be made with an IGH at the BB. Possibly ASAP.
