Modern brake levers for classic road bike?

The cane creek lever have a very flat and large area for the hands, perfect for compact bars where the bars curves very rapidly. Compact bars though are hard to impossible to get through a quill stem.

The Shimano R600 are the same lever as the BL-6403. Shimano are abit lazy, still a good lever. CRC are not the only people doing them at £40 posted how do I know that I wonder. The Shimano lever suit a shallow (square) or deep drop bar best as the bar does not curve so rapidly so the small hood is not so important.

I think those are the S500 levers with the 900 series being the tt levers.
