I, up until now, used old inner tube as a chainstay protection. but using old tyres was new to me. I'll have to give that a try.

I love this bike as it looks like a blast to ride and quite agile. Great work!

Thx. With this Miyata everything sits in the rights place and the ride could be described as telepathic. My other rider, the Panasonic e-stay, is a little bit more agile: it has a shorter wheelbase and a shorter fork.

Actually not. That's why I tried to hide them behind beefy non-perforated AC brake boosters.
