Built these up using new lowers and CSU (uncut and something like 260mm), serviced the internals and replaced all the o-rings, and bought a reconditioned U-turn assembly.
The project I had in mind for them is no longer going to happen so up for sale they go.
The only 'issue' is that the U-turn assembly is from a later model so minimum travel is around 90mm rather than 85mm. It still hits the full 115mm travel when adjusted. I can supply the original U-turn assembly, and a quick switch of the internals would get it back to stock travel. The reason I didn't do this is the frame I had planned didn't need 80mm. The issue with the original U-turn was that the circlip groove on the lower seal head had worn, but it's a simple job to swap over.
As mentioned, the fork is pristine, using new lowers and CSU, new U-turn adjuster dial and fully serviced and with new oil too. I've doubled up on the tiny o-ring at the top of the damper to prevent any leaks as having owned a few of these forks, it's a weakness/design flaw. Comes with lock out lever as well.
After £150 Inc post, which I think is reasonable as I've seen much worse sell for this on eBay recently. The new and reconditioned parts alone come to nearly that, just looking to find them a new home. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better example.
I'd consider trades/part ex but not really after much, maybe a nice set of disc brakes? Open to offers of you think my pricing is out, but research suggests it's a fair price for an almost new fork with many new parts.
I've also got a set of nos v lowers in black for these forks I can include for an extra £30. They don't have decals but I may have some somewhere.
