For sale my Marin Palisades Trail.
Not sure the year, I believe 1993, but not 100% sure (turns out it's a 1990 model).

Comes with flat pedals, not SPD

Frame size 18'


Good condition throughout but far from perfect. The paint is scratched in a few points.

They are measured c to c too, so probably smaller than you think.....

I didn't really "think" the size, I more "measured" it, if you get what I mean.

And yes, it's 18 inches.

Its either 19" or 17.5".....and the head tube is too small for a 19".

They measured from centre to centre of top tube NOT centre to top of seat tube. It may measure 18", but as a marin catalogue size its going to be smaller. If you measured to the top it could be even less!

The only reason i say that is the geometry is different from size to size. This is in the catalogue and may be important as marins have loooong top tubes.

All tyh best with the sale, they are great riding bikes imho.

Damn, I must really sound dumb if you feel I need to be be explained what centre to centre means

If the official sizes are 17.5 and 19 it's definitely 17.5, yes.
Not knowing 17.5 was an official size I went with 18 as it looked closer to that than to 17.
Actually, I measured it in cm as I don't have an imperial measuring tape and 45cm it's indeed almost spot on 17.5
