Manitou/Marin FRS Replica Type Thingy? Balance Pro 750?

Your best bet is to simply build it and then ride it, see if you like how it handles.
Interesting bike though, didn't know about these frames until now...

Re:

Spoke to the person selling it and apparently the rear end is working but is pretty rough. Think I'm going to give it a miss. Dont have the time or expertise to do this and I suspect it will sit in the shed untouched. If anyone else is interested in the bike let me know.

A friend had one. Compared to what I was riding at the time (RM the Edge) it was a tank. He brought it out for one ride, mocked it most of the day, then the frame went up on the FS wall at the shop the next day.

I forget which rider rode for them in or around 93 when it gained the world cup dual slalom and D/H title, hence the head badge being used with the championship colours

Mike King the year before he moved to GT

Remember the famous picture of him sideways at Mammoth

I think Mike King road for them for a bit and got world DH and a dual slalom titles on them.

Edit: it appears that the new software can hide posts. Didn't see the alst few posts, so all old news
