This came with a manitou 1 fork. Its been in a friends shed for 30years

It can be in the shed for 80 years ...still not original Just for information and to avoid confusion at the buyers side that might be in the mind of getting an original item for his collection or display shelf.

Since the very beginning of 1992 Answer Manitou time, the keys have always had the triangle top part.

Here is the "factory original" Manitou typical key on my bench during work:

answer manitou?... this came with a bradbury manitou...

but as you say its only an allen key

You clearly wrote "Manitou 1" above, did you - and you did not write Bradbury Manitou ... The "Manitou 1" is the Answer version of 1992.
