It's a 26" Longstaff tourer made by George Longstaff himself in 1988.

Bar end shifters and ginger beer picnics here I come!

What are your plans for it - please say downtube or barend shifters.

It wouldn't be seemly with STIs. Bar ends it is. I'm in seventh heaven at the moment, I've never owned a road bike that actually fits me!

That head tube's longer than the seat tube on the girlfriend's Kona!

Good choice with the barend shifters, it may be a bit of a challenge to reach downtube ones!

Absolutely nothing wrong with Shimano but a European build would look classy

Um, dangerous question! About a 23" would be ideal being 6'2" I should think. Why. Do you have one?
