I will give the Avids some thought,

They are Avid Magnesiums with full titanium hardware. (Stock Mag hardware was stainless steel)

I had to buy a set of Avid Titanium brakes to get this kit so as you can guess this was expensive, and I do not think too many Avid Mag/Ti brake sets are around, they are also quite light as a result of that.

Avid stopped making the Mags and the Titanium hardware version with alloy construction replaced them at the same price bracket.
