I went to Dungeons and Dragons one time at school, realised it was not for me.
I read the Hobbit as a wee kid though, it was an eye opener for a young lad. Star Wars was pretty amazing when it came out too.
Haven't read any fantasy or such for twenty years or so, apart from a lot of the posts on here, much rather a good biography or such for leisure reading.
I will have to wait until January to see the Hobbit, which is fine by me as I much prefer a half empty picture-house without all the teenagers blinding you with their iPhones.
Reports are mixed on it, but I am sure there is good and bad in everything.
