Kona Track Two Fork Query

I recently got these forks off a crappy old Trek. Some of your may remember it from the ebay & marketplace forum.

I'm no Kona expert, never even ridden one to be honest, but I'm pretty sure these are Track Two's but happy to be corrected. After dealing with the corroded and rounded crown bolts, spline drive socket hammered in did the trick, I'm now trying to remove the legs. It looks like the caps at the top of the legs are removable as there is a slight gap but before I get all heavy handed I thought I would ask in case they shouldn't be removed. It also seems an unusal arrangement with the crown race collar as it appears to be part of the crown itself rather than removable like Pace etc.
