can you post some better pics. (then in the Ebay ad) of the frame as it is now ?

thanks - doesn't look that bad - at least at the steerer tube.

the BB shell would make me a bit nervous - I hope that it doesn't still collect water - looks like rust from inside out :(

Beside that it should be possible to paint these area's without harming to much the character of the original livery - but if you don't like the original look of the frame, than its a different story ;)

You can guess which paint or not to paint club I'm in. It doesn't matter a jolt though, enjoy it and let us know how she rides.
 
Doesnt look too bad with decent pictures. I did bid on this with the intention of repainting, but having seen it in more detail it wouldnt be too hard to touch up and keep original paint :) i look forward to see how this ends up, good result either way :cool:

thanks for the comments. I'm all for keeping original but on a 93 the paint scheme is so boring! ;)

Plus there is some areas which will aggravate on the top tube so it needs to be totally restored to new. It will look absolutely original - I even paid for the correct tubing badge which arrived yesterday from Canada.
