Like the paint but stickers.

It happens because you dont see an oem kona(i think) ;)

My next projet will be more similar to oem model(93 marin team marin), but even with my personal "style", painted similar to an eldridge grade of previous year(but not exctly), and with the components not exactly like oem, only the most "iconic", rare, or important for me, basically will be assembled with shimano xt, but some pieces will be deore lx(brakes m-system and rear hub-black edition), for example my first 5 arm cranckset(400lx) but with improoved chairings (stronglight). other upgrade will be the 9 speed casette, also xt. Brake lever will be oem of the 92 team marin, the xt servo wave plus(a rare component i think, but for me the best shimano cantilever brakelevers), brake pads will be 2 iconic ones, scott mathauser front and kool stop, a tioga seatpost, ect... I have a flite titanium too but is too much used/weakened and i have to ¿carpet?, so meanwhile will use a cheaper&modern one.

i think all this happens because i never bought a complet mtb, only my first mtb(1989), i always assemble on my own, so i have a diferent "concept", or idea of bycicle, even about clasics mtb.

For me, classics oem mtb are many, like my kona fire mountain not many (i think) this is my idea. :)..and i think the first concept of mtb(repack ones) is more similar to this, improoved bikes for mountain use.

Por cierto , ¿no seras el mismo del facebook que me dijo lo mismo por el propio facebook?

Some update, i had to change the initial fork of this kona to the team marin, because i need to install a wider tyre, and this one only can support 2.2 max. For the kona,s use(skill&recreational use) is enough with this 2.1 in the front, maxxis advantage.

With this one it looks more serious ;)
