Cake! Gather round the table of shame! Well done – ten years for anything is quite a stretch.

Was thinking about this last night after seeing one member announcing their departure from Retrobike. I guess there's a natural lifespan for things. And considering the pace of change in technology and the way we communicate now. The immediacy of smart phones, Facebook and Twitter dominate culture and shape trends. Forums look more like the early days of the world wide web in comparison.

I guess we're past peak Retrobike and people have moved on or use social media instead. Wish I'd discovered it earlier – I stumbled over it purely by chance Googling about after I found my old bike and got back into biking in 2010. What makes the rest of you keep the faith?
