Anyhow, this is a proper corkscrew - patent 1920, one hand always firmly on the bottle to open (like even the best cellar table top openers) which is the absolute golden rule. One of my favourites, and not even Simplex decided to try better 😁

The Campag one is neither proper for a cellar, home or a waiter. Clumsy design and stupid priced.

My favourite tipple is, of course, champagne. Those bottles open themselves.
