Insuring my bikes

Hi Andy

In the past I have listed bikes as individual 'high value' items (like you would antiques) on my house insurance for about £30 - £50 extra to get around the generic cover of £500 max per bike.
Once tried the CTC for a quote & they wanted over £200, although this did also cover you away from the home.

Get your parents to go with M&S,they cover your bikes as un-named items upto £4000 each, handy when you have 10 bikes  .

I've used the co-op insurance for bikes ,it was any bike up to £1000[not sure if that means all bikes though]
They paid up £900 ,2 weeks after i took out the policy ,i was unlucky to get my Cannondale nicked and was surprised they paid that soon, but they seemed cool about it and didn't seem suspicious.
Police found it and i bought it back from the insurance company for £200
Then i sold it for £400
The co-op is a good cheap reliable company[they've done my house insurance for about 10 years and i very happy with them :D
Give them a call and see what they say
