Just back from the excellent powder coaters...

I walked the 3 miles out and back from the Nailsea and Backwell train station ( after my nightshift in Taunton ) to the powder coaters to pick the frame up.....felt like christmas!

I was very impressed with the level of finish considering the terrible state of the paintwork ( NO reflection on Gordon at G-Whizz Cycles at all; I knew exactly what I was buying ). Carried the frame and wheeled the bike home from Temple Meads station then crawled ( knackered ) into bed at 10.30 this morning.

This is a spectacular improvement and after some helicopter tape it'll be a no-need-to-worry area. Lush colour!

Tack-stitched together at the mo just after I got up this afternoon and now awaiting some old skool bling bits!

Rear end was old skool ( 123mm? ) so it got persuaded to join the 21st century.

Just took it to the powder coaters yesterday for a coat of cream. I'll paint the lugs myself in a plum colour.
