Karma, just pay postage cost. Ideally for your usage not flippage!

Both were in boxes of bits and I don’t need them, not ever used by me so not sure exactly what they are from.

Hope? Freehub needs at least 1 pawl and a set of pawl springs, easily available. I put new bearings in as I had some already. Bit chewed by sprockets but useable - now claimed

American Classic - I know it as as I’ve got other AC hubs but not sure what this one is from. There are two different clutch? plates, back of this looks like someone has been at it with a punch. One bearing rough. - now claimed

Hi, could I take the hope one please. I've got some incomplete hubs it may fit, being slowly gathering parts to make them whole.

Thsnks

Pretty interesting way how the pauls are designed on the American there with the opposing plates.
They are an interesting design, those plates are from two different free hubs. One type has a spring that sticks out and locates on the one with holes in, the other type like the one I’m gifting has 3 built in sprung nodules that act as a no return on the cam plate. The pawls actually sit on top of that, inside the hub shell. Those slots on the outer part act as a cam on the pawls that then lock in to the teeth on the freehub body.

Makes a satisfying buzzing sound when freewheeling! I’ve just acquired a couple of sets of American Classic road hubs I’m hoping to put to use. Seems to be a lesser used brand over here, top quality stuff though.
