Homeopathy

I went to an acupuncturist, he said you might feel a little prick. I replied “the amount I’m paying you I fell like a big one"!

I tried acupuncture for a back problem. Everybody raved about it and all knew some one who had a friend it had cured. It didn't work. I was told to expect a 'numbing glow' sensation. Despite her having to go to find yet more needles and my back looking like a porcupines' porn film, I felt nothing.
In the end I said I could feel the glow as the poor woman was starting to cry and due to loss of blood I was starting to worry about my ability to stay conscious on the drive home.
I think medical science is the way forward. Plants have their place in medicene. Who knows? The Brazilians may have already chopped and burnt the cure for viral infections.

homeapathy - is that when you can't be bothered to go to a doctor? :D

No, it's when I can't be bothered to do any of the work that I should do round my house.

I'm very much against Homeopathy...........hatred of people who prefer same sex relations has no place in this new decade........... :p

Naw- some of it has uses, but like 'scientific' medicine, there's rarely a miracule cure for anything.

What a load of rubbish, reading a great book called "Bad Science", its scary what people are suckered into.

Agree.
BUT modern medicine is not that perfect either. Hence why i don't have a doc any more. Saw 6 last year and they gave 6 different problems and the last gave drugs that made it worse.

I was a migraine sufferer for about 3 years of my life. I went to see all sorts of doctors and took all sorts of medicines. When my mom suggested I try homeopathy with her, I went because I really had nothing to lose at that point.

I was given the ventossa therapy treatment and another one where they "smoke" the illness out of you. Sounds dumb in writing, yes, but it was the only thing that worked.

I have not had a migraine since.

Mrs SB went through IVF-type treatment for first pregnancy, all very unpleasant, invasive and expensive (although it is cool having a receipt for your kid!). This time round she tried homeopathy first and fell pregnant on the first cycle of trying. Coincidence, possibly, but it is only the application of chemicals to provoke a natural reaction in the body.

Hayfever cures sucked though!
