Tis a beauty, very clean.

nice pedals, have a set or two myself, they are light as hell, but I think yours are a bit cleaner than mine.

Fabulous bike, hopefully I will get one of mine to that level of clean one day :)

thanks - aye, it's amazing what you find on ebay!!

That is fantastic. My 1980 Alan is on here somewhere and the same size as yours.

yup, you can't beat the oldies! i had super record on the bike previously - the gears didn't work and more than once my person was threatened with gear slippages at the most unfortunate of times! super record was definately the best looking groupset on the market but those friction gears were an absolute health hazard!! can you post me a link to your alan page please?

rusty :)

Roadbike of the Month is a poll run every month where forum members get to vote and a winner emerges. The current one is here http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=110375 (with a rather lovely Zullo ;) ) and your bike would be a most worthy entrant for a future poll.

lol ok how do i get an entry for the old bike?

rusty

Just look out for the call for entries and post up your bike. The 'rules' are here http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8326 .
