I have just acquired this 1950s looking frame off Ebay with view to carrying out a renovation and rebuild job. I've never come across another bearing its trade name of Eric Hickman, Kings Street, Dudley and wondered if any one has knowledge of this cycle shop. I am aware that it existed until a few years ago and presume the frame was built by a generic builder and badged by the shop. Fortunately the ornate seat tube and head tube transfers are relatively intact but there is nothing to show what might have been on the down tube. Does anyone know? I've attached a couple of pictures.
