Old School Hero
Treasured this frame for many years, enjoying all kind of build ups. A bit of a pity to let him go, but need to let some things go.

So up for sale thus really nice looking high end steel frame with Ritchey dropouts for 26 inch wheels. I never got to find out the maker of this frame. It has some od markings on it that says Sequoia.

Together then with the Ritchey WCS carbon fork and Chris King headset

some measurements of the frame

bb is 68 mm
seatpost 27.2 mm
clamp 31.8 mm
Seatpost tube 48 cm
Horizontal tube 57 cm
Diagonal tube 63 cm

I left a magura steel wire on it to install magura brakes on it. the se cables are hard to find and not easy to install properly.

Ofcourse the frame has some significant use , but as you can see on the pics, in great shape. No cracks or dents that I can see.

All together for €450

Looks a lot like one of the shop-own frames, usually made from Tange Prestige or Ritchey Prestige, i have one almost identical, cant remember the make off the top of my head, not the Merlin shop ones, though similar to those too.

what's the value on these frames. I know not cheap and what I paid for it. but they don't come around that often

They are made with good tubing and always had great ride reviews. Price is a bit all over with them in the past, some see them as cheap low end frames as they were not sold by well known bike brands, usually shops and stickered up with their own branding, though as i said they rode as good as higher priced bikes, while others knew how good they rode and were happy to pay a bit more for them. Personally i think £100 - 150 is a fair price all things considering.
