Has anyone heard of the "Roadway" bike brand?

Hi,
I picked up a cheap bundle on that auction place which is approx 60-70% of a full bike.
The Chap who I picked it up off passed me the frame badge and suggested it was a Japanese manufacturer? It doesn't look like a Japanese badge to me but the components are mostly Shimano.
Does anyone know anything about the brand?

Roadway Cycle Company Inc. of Somerset, New Jersey. Don't know much about them other than they seemed to concentrate on BMX and cruiser type bikes under various trade names using mostly Taiwanese frames in the early 1980s.

Thanks I was thinking it was more likely to be Taiwanese than Japanese.
