The last lugset Dick Morris cut out. Dick said he cut the lugset out to see what he could still do, ( he was 90yrs old when he cut the lugset ). He was now 96 yrs old and said he would have liked to have seen it made into a frame. This was 2009. He had sold his business in the late 70s to be nearer his son. I kept in touch with Dick and in 2010 he fell ill, when Dick passed I managed to obtain the lugs and had the frame made up by Kevin Sayles of Woodrup cycles, another great frame builder. I think Dick would have been very pleased how his work turned out. A person who recently saw the bike said I think there are a lot of people who would travel just to see it. The top head lug is cut HENRY, R. MORRIS the bottom head lug is cut Sans Pereil which means in French WITH OUT EQUAL. The other parts of the lug is in Fleur- De - Lis design. The bike is in mint condition and only been ridden about 200 miles. A one chance to own a one off classic.
