Trying to find information on a GT Zaskar .. where to find the serial number?

A couple of things about a Zaskar that make it so

Usually stamped 6061 on a drop out.

Flat top tube cap at seat post

Serial on BB is in a date format followed by frame volume number i.e. 0995100 translating to September 1995 and the 100th frame in the production line. I made the serial up as an example, but it may exist.

Thought the serial was on the dropout too?

So did I, it's on the outside of the dropout opposite the drive side on my '96 Zaskar LE

The owner can’t find the frame number, I have directed him to your comments.. it’s got this sticker on it (which zi guess could be easily replicated)

Now I see, it's about a GY Zaskar.. Perhaps I'm wrong, as I was assuming it was about a GT Zaskar.
