GT Quadrefoil Tandem- Deciphering Serial Numbers.

Does anybody have a GT Quadrefoil? I am trying to decipher GTs serial numbers and although I have received some information, there are still questions. 1. I have been told that up to 1200 were made each year, from 1991-1993, and less in 1993, it does not seem realistic that 3,000 GT Quads were made. 2. I have collected 4-5 serial numbers from (Taiwan made Quadrefoils). I do know that some are 1992, but cannot confirm that some maybe 1991’s. All have the same serial number, but a different production number. Does any one have a 1991 or 1992 Quadrefoil and willing to share your serial number? My info is below:

Year: 1991 or 1992
Model: 91’ Quadrefoil GT (base) or 92’ Quad DX without DX logo
Serial#: 9202...1, T9112, 0206
Color: Black with light blue splatter (not Midnight Aurora)
Components: XT/DX components, Deore DX crank, 700D/Araya RM17

maybe a pic of the whole bike, you can usually pick the year of a GT from the Decals.
For serial numbers, USA made stuff is easier to decode, Taiwanese stuff harder, but there is usually a year/month somewhere near the start...but then tandems are probably completely different...

Few went around the globe. Seriously is chasing numbers worth it. I can remember seeing containers of them unloaded. There are plenty out there. I own three. At any time I search I can usually find 3-5 for sale. Many listings are up for 3-6 months before they finally move along to a new owner.
