GT Psyclone steel

Anybody know what steel tube type psyclones are made of?

It may be ambitious but I was thinking of making my own bike in a 24” wheel size brazed and badge up as a psyclone for my daughter as mini zaskars are I unobtainable

Aren't they True Temper GTX Ultra III?
Or at least some were...and they were fillet brazed.

Earlier ones were True Temper GTX, from around '96 - '97 onwards they were OX Gold (as was my one). Later models switched and were Reynolds 853.

They're lovely frames, the fillet brazing suits the GT frame design well. Sounds like a super project

Thanks both, I really wanted a mini zaskar for my little girl, although as we all know they're hens teeth, I did consider getting a wrecked Xizang and sending it off but I think brazing might be a easier project but I could be wrong
