hmm not sure if theyre suitable
what travel are they?

these frames were prone to cracking at the seat tube/down tube junction

(but still many of these frames around so it cant be that bad, not to put you off, just to point out)

why wouldnt they be suitable? Not sure on travel, didnt ask lol they were cheap. The bikes not gonna get any heavy abuse as wil only be used to go to work

frames only suited to 100mm ish travel

if theyre around that then i dont see why they wouldnt be fine

and the bike should be good for those duties
you can also consider singlespeed on these

i havent done this before but im sure many will tell you not to
but then maybe not?

i was planning on building my old i drive with 150mm (110-150)
it looked fine but im not sure
actually, just had a flash back
i used to run dual crowns
on my old old i drive (my first proper bike)
they were fine
but i crashed it when i was pissed and bent them

they were 100mm though

i cant see it to be a problem really :?

that said, it would be a big no no for me, stair sets and some jumps on my commute
everytime!
