GT Frame Identification.

Trying to identify a GT frame recently purchased.
Brushed and lacquered finish and not ball burnished - Indicates not a Zaskar.
Rounded cap end to rear of top tube - Indicates not a Zaskar.
6061 stamped on the inside of both drop outs is confusing as the Backwoods which I am thinking that it might be was 7005 tubing.
Research so far has me thinking this could be a 1999 Backwoods.
Any alternate suggestions?
