Giuffredi

I want to buy my first vintage road bike and I've come across a Giuffredi for sale but can't find anything about the brand. All I know is they're Italian. Does anyone have any information please? I'm not wanting to race or set world records, I just want to enjoy some fun cycling on a vintage racer. Thanks.

Re:

Giuffredi Was a known Italian builder. Probably up to the late 60s.
Built some class bikes, but as in most makers, to earn a living not all bikes were the expensive top quality.

If you can find out what tube set was used it might help with the value, but over time bikes can get different transfers.

Thanks for that. I don't have such details so maybe it's just a case of riding it and deciding whether it's a good purchase for me. I'm not expecting to buy some top end thoroughbred, I'd just like a decent vintage bike I can enjoy. I just want to avoid buying something that's considered junk. I'm attracted to the fact that it's Italian.
