Sold Giant Defy advanced pro 3 disc £499

My workmate has just got himself a dazzling new Tcr with all the trimmings and has asked me to re home his trusty Defy. Not in the least bit retro but thought it may be of interest to somebody here.
2017 Giant Defy advanced pro 3 in small.
105 11 speed groupset with hydraulic discs
The bike has just had a brand new 105 chainset, chain and cassette fitted (not ridden since) both brake pads are a couple of rides old as is the front disc rotor,
The saddle is the un ridden original.
Condition is all good with a few scrapes in keeping with a bike that has been ridden and enjoyed.
Tyres are reasonable with a bit of wear and some little cuts here and there, testament to our lovely West Yorkshire roads, all quite usable though.
The bike came as standard with those horrible non groupset hydro sti levers ( the massive bulbous ones that nobody likes), these were swapped for a nicer 105 pair not long ago.
Looking for £499
I can get it boxed up and posted within mainland Uk for £20.00
Highlands and offshore Uk will be a chunk more.

I know we're not supposed to comment on price, but in my view this is a crazy price for a branded carbon frame hydraulic disc road bike with decent parts. Not that I need it, but I'd have gladly had it if it was my size, even before the price reduction! It would be snapped up within minutes on ebay at anywhere like this price.

Very true, unfortunately testament to hard times. I’m sure it would look lovely gift wrapped under somebody’s tree though. I’m sure I could find a big ribbon to hang on it if it helped move it along!

This is my friend Martin, who only just joined the forum so I dont think he can contact you in conversations yet until hes had a minimum number of posts. Martin is very interested in the bike so you just need to sort out the logistics I think.
