front mech help! ha ha ha

think i'd be tempted to go down the single chain ring route if a front mech is a moody option, unless you could somehow file/grind, using dremel, inside of clamp and polish edges back to good form, think i'd give it a go, another way of 'personalising' your bike

The use a 'proper' mech. The conventional type, not top swing. They tend to last longer aswell

I agree with that, no idea why but conventional DO seem to last longer.

take a scotchbrite pad to those cranks as well, they'll polish up a treat
