French Bottom bracket

Hi, your original bottom bracket shells, are they okay or is this reason for the search. If they are okay, you maybe able to find a NOS cottered shaft to fit. I'm putting together a French Dilecta town bike and have managed to find an old Raleigh roadster bottom bracket at 134mm with the flats nearly aligned exactly to the old one. I will be checking the chain line once I've sorted the wheels out, but it looks promising. Don't forget if they are french threads they may both be right handed ! Thanks Terry

Just remembered, I used to have a parallel adjustable reamer for making english cottered cranks fit continental axles. The continental pedal threads may be a little smaller.
