Freddie Grubb Fixie

A flamboyant Red could look good on your Grubb. Silver base with a clear red over the top. Lloyds should have transfers. Could you restore the wheels you have? Change the hubs to large flange, polish the rims. Are they wienmann rims?
My 1938 F H Grubb is Flamboyant Red and a fixed wheel.

Simon.

Re:

Just an update, "Grubby Freddie" is home.
Here's a few photos, does anyone know how to accurately date the bike?
Thanks

Re:

Hi all,
i've stripped Grubby Freddy and had him sand blasted and painted. I also have polished the old chrome parts up and they all look nice.
Theres new headset bearings to go in and bottom bracket bearings too, only trial fitted bottom bracket at the moment.
Thanks, Jamie

Thanks Coupes, we had limited colours so my mate mixed roundel blue and white to get that colour which I quite like.
I've looked on Lloyd's cycles website and found the decals to add soon and I'm looking for some gum walled tyres in 700c tyres too.
Cheers
