That Denton / Mercian frame is a real curates egg.....is the fastback / seat stays really joined together so far down or is it just a shaed load of paint?

Never thought about that ! Can't be just paint - guess it must be mainly the brazing/tigweld. Just looked at the other side and it's very neat !
