For Sale - 2009 Foes DHS Mono 2:1 Curnutt XTD Fork - Stunning Condition

Gordyboy

Retro Newbie
Foes DHS Mono 2:1 10inchs travel with Ultra rare 8.5inch travel USD Curnutt fork - The grand daddy super bike with original period components all in amazing condition, bought last year as a direct import from California USA so has never seen a British puddle or winter ride. I striped cleaned the whole bike and there is not a single sign of of corrosion or rust any where, I don't think its been ridden a great amount with it coming from the original owner from new.

Foes 2:1 frame in original factory paint finish with air Curnutt 5inch long air travel shock and floating brake system all fitted with top end spec parts available back in 2009 including Saint cranks, derailleur and brakes. Foes integrated stem fitted to the monster XTD Curnutt fork which works perfectly, no oil leaks and holding its bottom out out air charge, fitted with a med-heavy spring (about right for my weight of 85kgs?), massive 30mm bolt through front hub and Foes brake rotor. Hadley hub on the rear, both wheels are 26inch MTX rims with no wobbles. Original Maxxis DH tyres which look great and have seen some use, I would recommend fitting some new tyres if you want ride it properly saving the hard to find scarce originals?

Condition - its some signs of use with some paint chips where you'd expect on the chain stay and few bits under bottom bracket, the odd scratch on the rims and a few scrapes on one of the upper sanctions. The Crank Bro's 50/50 pedals I've rebuilt them with a new bearing kit and are running smooth with no freeplay. The bike is 99% original in with only the easy to remove dropper post plus grips to get it back to stock 2009 era parts all over - included is the original grips and I have a Thompson seat post for it but the top clamp is missing?

No mega rush to sell just need more room in my small garage after getting yet another bike.

Payment on collection with either cash or bank transfer. Can pack and ship although you'll need to get a box sent to me for packing.

£5950 ono

Hi,
Nice bike but you've posted in the wrong place... Ask a mod to move it in 98+ forum... ;)

 Very nice.

Do prefer the look of the original Mono's though, and even more the rarer Tube version.
