FD advice

Devout Dirtbag
Late last night I accidentally unscrewed the band that holds this FD M550 too far and then preceded to drop it on the floor. This resulted in what I would describe as an explosion of small parts , and now I have no idea how this goes back together. Tried various combos but it was late and nothing seemed to work. Anyone know the correct order/orientation ?
My second question is what are the factors you need to consider to know if a FD is compatible with a bike/drivetrain? This one has I think 1 1/8 written on it and also maybe 28.6 (may not be), I’m guessing these are the size of the tube it will fit on. The bike I was attempting to fit it to is a 92 marin eldridge, the bottom bracket a 122.5, the crankset is FC MT60 and chainrings 46/36/? . I’ll attach pictures just incase it’s helpful, any advice much appreciated !

28.6 is 1-1/8"
So yes for that size tube.

It'll be fine for your setup (technical answer is look up the specs).

To put back together, so voodoo knowledge or have a diagram.
