1990 Gary Fisher AL1 Frame

An early aluminium mountain bike frame. I picked up this frame after it had been "sanded" back to a raw finish but it needed a lot more work to get it smooth and polished. I spent a good bit of time wet sanding it down to get a pretty good polished finish and applied new decals. The model was identified through research looking at similar frames.
Unfortunately I've recently discovered there is a crack running down the back of the head tube. It should be repairable by an experienced aluminium welder.
Seat Tube: 47cm Centre to Top / 42.5cm Centre to Centre
Top Tube: 53cm Centre to Centre
Dropouts: 135mm
Bottom Bracket: 86mm (Fisher proprietary)
Headtube: 98mm (1 1/4")
Brake Type: Cantilever

Rockshox RS1

The Rockshox RS1. This was the first mountain bike specific suspension fork available to the market way back in 1990. It had an air/oil design and came in anything from 1" threaded to the 1 1/4" threaded of this fork. I believe it had around 50mm of travel.
Now this fork needs a little work. It will hold air but not for very long. It needs some new seals fitted (they are still available in repro form) and then you'll be away. I have also pictured some marring to the left inner stanchion.
