I am indeed lucky to get hold of a piece of British MTB history in such good condition.

Rides really nicely, better than the weight of it would suggest.All the controls, gears, hubs etc are still smooth and 'crisp'.

The slack angles, I find, make for a positive, in-control yet relaxed/smile-on-face ride. Whizzing downhill's a dream.

I may ride this at Haldon or an 88' Diamond Back possibly.

Love the other bikes posted, great 'Retro' stuff.

you have a bike worth quite a few RB tokens. M700 parts go for pretty pennies these days.

I don't take this out to often but had a nice spin out on it this evening. Never fails to put a smile on my face.

The ride really belies it weight and the hubs are still so smooth. Must take the cassette off and lube it soon though.
