F W Evans Early 1930s Tourer

Hi Everyone,

I have had a chance to look at the cycle again in better light and the serial number on the seat lug is 2762 and the Sturmey-Archer Gear does have KB3 on it, which I presume is as Keith said indicates 1933.

I am currently deciding what to do for best.

Thanks for all the assistance,

Brian

Yeah, as said, there are some rare parts there and the bike is remarkably complete. Since it's your dad's why not just screw it all back together, add some new tyres, grease and oil... and simply enjoy? They're heavy, but they ride really well.

I'm also after some information relating to mine. Frame number is: 3316. Chapter Lea head clip and chainset, later wheels and brakes (I'm guessing). Any idea on the year. Ta. It rides lovely by the way......
