Yea I was looking at it like one looks at nice old bikes. Not necessarily the best for using but you can appreciate the quality for its time. If only we had somewhere like minded people could share their love for such stuff!

I’ve often looked at the vintage stands and wondered how many damaged bikes with their clamps, guess they wrapped a cloth round the tube/post they were clamping. I’ve got a Kestrel stand which is ace, I’ve used old MTB tyres cut and glued to the inner face of the clamps rather than buy their own version.
