Thanks Matti, yes, could be very useful. I'd be nice to have a serial number starting in'8' to hopefully place the year. Also interesting to know that it was in fact their top end bike of this era
Had a chance to strip down the Norco this weekend. Some interesting parts which I'll share more on later. The bullmoose stem/bar is a Nitto uncut unit which is nice.
Frame serial# is T6A92632. I believe after some searching the 2nd digit "6" means 86', 1st "T" is the maker and "A" is January. Nice brazed cable guides

I like this little cable guide ring on the side of the U-Brake boss
Does anyone know what these two bits brazed to the top of the drive side chainstay are?
Overall a pretty fine frame produced from one of our best Canadian brands I'd say
